Some Thoughts

As the number of days added to your life
As you experienced more and more about life
- successes or failures; laughter or tears; peak or valley,
You slowly pick up the responsibility of life
Responsibility that once you thought that it’s the matter of adults.

Can you still remember your childhood?
Where once you had various kinds of dreams?
Where once days are only sunny days?
Rain did come, but it went away so fast,
That you can hardly remember that you cried over certain things?
Life was simple then, no worries, no heartache, no bitter experiences.

You dared to dream
Cos you had the courage to dream
And the reason to dream.
You were daring in making decisions
Cos you didn’t need to bear such responsibility
And there were actually not much of responsibility that you can bear.
Of course,
You dared to love, too
Cos you believed in beautiful things
And the world is beautiful and lovely for you.

But,
As you grow older
You just didn’t notice that life had has it chain on you
It hooked on you
On your shoulder.

Upon your shoulder
The responsibility is heavier and heavier each day
The colourful bubbles of dreams
Slowly burst…
One by one
With or without you noticing it.
You may noticed the change
In the way of your thinking
Cos it brought much difference for you
Or
You may not even noticed that you’ve change
Cos may be you were just too busy
To notice it.

To dream,
To hope,
To take risk
To even smile at the storm
Has become something really hard.

One day,
You may encounter someone
Who reminds you about your childhood or teenage years
A person with dreams
A person who dares to speak out loud
Or
A person who dares to be vulnerable

Then
You realized that
You are not young anymore
And you find the shadow of you in the person
The shadow that once
Dare to

Life
And
Its experiences
